2 Things You Must Convey When Selling Closeout Products

When selling closeout products, whether you are a wholesaler or retailer, you must convey two important things to your customers.

#1 You need to convey a sense of urgency. You want to make sure that your customers understand that once the closeout is sold out you might not be able to source more of it so your customers need to act now.

#2 You need to let them know if the product is scarce. In other words, if you found a great closeout but you only have 100 units available, then the available quantity is very limited. If a customer is planning on ordering a few units, you need to let him or her know that you might not have any more when they decide to reorder later on.

This way if the customer sees potential in the closeout he will have the option of ordering a larger quantity while the closeout is still available.

By fully communicating with your customers you will help them grow their business while at the same time developing a great business relationship with them.
