I know that the question might seem funny, after all if you want people to buy your products they better be popular right?
Well what will you do with your unsold products when they are no longer popular? Sure you could find ways to unload them, but you better be sure that you sold enough of those products at the full retail price so that you can still make a profit on the entire lot.
While it can make sense to sell products that are currently popular, I prefer on focusing products that are popular all year round, year after year.
Sure, some people do really well with as seen on TV products, but in my opinion nothing beats fashion when it comes to long term sales. I would rather carry products that everyone needs throughout the year than on products that might not be sought out once a popular trend passes.
